It was concluded that the victims of the incident were a farmer and a vigilante.
Operational motorcycles and a car of the security agency Amotekun was set on fire by the killer bandits.

Fulani Herdsmen fight back

The assault allegedly took place when the men of Amotekun and other security agents were carrying out Governor Rotimi Akeredolu’s order to flush out the herdsmen illegally occupying the state’s forest reserves.

A statement released by Adebayo Ayeni, the Amotekun Corps Public Relations Officer, said the suspects had been arrested.
