Boris Johnson has notified Vladimir Putin, that Russian troops will encounter “bitter and bloody” resistance if Moscow start an invasion in Ukraine. The prime minister announced it today ahead of a planned visit.

Prime Minister set to visit Europe for talks.

The minister who intends to visit the eastern Europe later in the week, his expected to have a conversation with the Russian president by phone.

According to the minister: “What I will say to President Putin, as I have said before, is that I think we really all need to step back from the brink”.

Kremlin also stated that the British government has fresh plans to impose sanctions on Moscow as tension continues to rise in Ukraine over invasion.

According to Kremlin, “The threat was an attack on Russian businesses, and undermined Britain investment climate”.

According to UK foreign secretary Liz Truss, “Russian oligarchs in London would be hit with tough new sanctions to deter Moscow from invading Ukraine, even if it hurt the UK economy”.

The prime minister will be on a visit to Kiev on Tuesday, to talk with the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky, in regards to the continuous fear over Russia’s builds up, Downing Street has said.

Going further the prime minister will urge Vladimir Putin to step back from the brink when he speaks to the Russian president. Mr. Johnson said he will again tell the Russian president that an invasion of Ukraine would be an absolute disaster for the world.

The head of the National Security Bureau Pawel Soloch, has stated that, Poland may supply Ukraine with defense munitions.

“A decision was made to supply the Ukrainian side with defensive munitions… The offer was made to the Ukrainian side, we are waiting for an answer,” he said, adding that Poland could deliver several tens of thousands of munitions.

Ben Wallance, UK defense secretary has been in Hungary for talks with his counterparts about the Ukraine crisis. While the Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orban is ready to visit Moscow tomorrow (Tuesday) for talks with Putin.

Mr. Wallace has insisted he will support the visit, during a press conference: “I think it’s very important that President Putin hears from a country such as Hungary that they will face direct economic consequences of any instability in the east.

“I don’t know what the prime minister of Hungary will actually say to Putin but I think it is clear that we all are in agreement that we don’t want instability, we don’t want war in the east, we don’t want casualties, we don’t want migrant flows, we don’t want high fuel prices and food prices which would inevitably follow from any actions.”

One hopes the meeting will yield fruitful result.
