Popular comedian Debo Adebayo popularly known as (Mr Marcaroni), and Nigerian musician Folarin Falana (Falz) have rejected the invitation of Lagos State Governor Sanwo-Olu to a peace work. Governor Sanwo-Olu who revealed plans to organize a peace walk in December 2021 in commemoration of the #EndSARS movement.

Sanwo-Olu had in his press briefing on the Endsars panel report, invited Folarin Falana (Falz), Debo Adebayo (Mr. Marcaroni), Dele Farotimi, Temitope Majekodunmi, Segun Awosanya (Segalinks), Adedotun (Just Detoun), Seun Kuti; Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, and Commander of Rapid Response Squad, RRS, CSP Yinka Egbeyemi and others to join him in the “historic march”.

Marcaroni argued that ‘genuine peacemaking will begin by first implementing the recommendations of the panel’.

@Mrmacaronii: I humbly decline the Invitation of Mr. Governor. The Government themselves set up a panel. The panel has made recommendations. I believe that genuine peacemaking will begin by first implementing the recommendations of the panel. Then we can begin to trust the governor.

Mr. Folarin Falana, aka Falz, described Sanwo-Olu’s invitation as a joke, nothing that it is disrespectful to invite him for a peace walk, while justice has not been served since the alleged killing of protesters at Lekki Toll Gate.
